Hi guys,

So I’m having a problem and I’m hoping somebody here will be able to help me or maybe he encountered the same problem. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Sport Black with 29000km on it. It’s just over 1 year old. I have the full 5 year/100000km warranty.

Recently I have heard a noise in my front end and took it to the dealership for them to fix it. The noise only occurs when I turn my steering wheel all the way to the left. It’s like a clicking/clunking noise. The dealership had my truck for three weeks trying to figure out the noise. They said they couldn’t pinpoint it and figure out what the exact problem is. They replaced my right front wheel bearing and axle shaft. They also told me that my break rotors are rotting out and I need to replace them and they aren’t covered under warranty. I said that ridiculous because the truck is one year old and less than 30000km on it.

They gave my truck back to me and said it was still making a noise but that noise is due to my rotors needing to be changed. I drove the truck and it sounds the exact same as when I took it in to them 3 weeks earlier. I’m furious. I want my truck fixed and the rotors replaced on warranty. I don’t know what to do and am thinking of calling Ram Canada to see what they say. Has anyone else had any similar noise/problem like mine? If so how did you fix it. I’m convinced the dealer has no idea what the noise is and doesn’t know how to fix it and just gave up and gave the truck back to me. I’m super pissed off. Thanks for your time guys.

take care,
Jon

This was my paperwork from them.

Here’s a pic of my truck. I’ll post a few more once I’m finished work.

Check the lower control arm and steering knuckle for wear spots, there has been a post or two where the knuckle hits the lower control arm at full lock. Also, what size are those tires? They look larger than OEM
