No shine tire dressing?

Back when I was in my 20's I would clean my tires with Wesley's Bleche-Wite. I would spray it on, scrub it and rinse it off and my tires would look brand new. I loved the clean, satin look so much that I wouldn't add any tire dressing afterward. Black Magic now makes Bleche-Wite and it just doesn't work as good as I remember. Also, Bleche-Wite is very caustic and I've ruined wheels if I let it sit too long before rinsing. That stuff also stripped the sealer off my driveway, so I'm done with it.

I still want that satin black look but I can't find a product that lasts more that a week or two after application. I'm currently using Armor All Tire Foam. It's the least shiny product I've been able to find and it's pretty easy to apply. Doing a Google search for satin tire dressings brings up just a few products and this one looks the most promising. Anybody have experience with this or any other no-shine tire dressing?

I use Griots garage black satin matte tire dressing….comes in a rattle can format, sprays on nice and leaves a matte finish

Currently trying the Chemical Guys VRP. Wanted something last weekend for a car show and I also don't like the shiny look. Very pleased with the results. Reminds me of the Zaino Z16 I used to use. Just ran through an auto car wash tonight and still looks good.

I use reg armor all cut 50/50 or 60/40 with water, spray some on engine also after spray cleaning, looks like new an not greasy . Just let air dry. Picture is of my 2000 f150

After doing a lot of research on the products suggested, I ordered the Aero Cosmetics Rubber Care. I also ordered the Chemical Guys Wonder Wave foam applicators. I'll post up my thoughts on them next week.

Nothing Armoral will ever touch my vehicle. Maybe they reformulated, but the original stuff would dry and crack the plastic dashes and rubber over time

And turn things white also. That stuff was nasty back in the day.

Duragloss 253 is a solid choice.

Maybe you could get it to shine if you over apply but eventually it'll dry and you will be left with satin black rubber tires.

When the tires get dirty just wash with car soap. No need to reapply for a few washes but you can do it as often as you'd like.

Maybe, my truck will be 22 years old in two weeks, been using since new. Only on my tires and engine compartment ,not on the inside. No issues for me.

I've seen more than a few posts on various forums about Armor All causing damage to plastic and rubber. I've been using for a few decades without any issues.

If the product you are using on your vehicle says armor all or turtle wax on it, you need to stop. There are literally thousands of products better than anything either of those companies make.

303 Aerospace protectant is about the best UV protection out there and leaves no shine behind.
