Mine's done that twice. The first time I slapped it and the backup view started working. The second time it didn't help but I pulled over and shut it off and restarted it and then it started working. And then I read a couple days later about some kind of over-the-air update. I'm suspecting it was installing something at an inconvenient time. Hope that's all it was for me and all it is for you.
