No map audio on CarPlay

This happened once before, resetting the phone fixed it. Everything else with CarPlay works fine, but I don’t have any audio with the navigation. When I try to turn it up it just shows that the volume is all the way down.

Google was no help.

Make sure you turn up the audio in your mapping app (Google Maps, for example, has a setting you can adjust while using CarPlay).
