First time I've ever seen NHTSA get a recall out over a single day of production deviation. Must have been an unfortunate situation driving it.
I bought a new Chevy in 95 that had a one day, one plant deviation with off-spec wheel hubs. The danger was you could lose a wheel with little warning. No recall, just a call from GM and tow truck sent to retrieve and $24/day rental allowance.
Only applies to manually adjusting passenger seats built on SEP 25, 2018 - SEP 26, 2018 (mod edit) November 20th. (Save people time who have power seats)
