I am new to the forum, and come in looking for some advice. I currently live in Mexico, Guanajuato, and recently purchased a 2023 RAM 1500 Big Horn, 6 lug wheels, VIN-1C6RRFFG5PN622666. The truck came with a tow package, including the extended side mirrors. While the mirrors will be useful when towing, for day to day driving on Mexican streets, they tend to be problematic. I am trying to find a set of standard size mirrors to replace the tow mirrors. I have checked all the dealerships here, and also those from San Antonio, Texas to the border, and have come up empty. I really think there must be standard mirrors available, but I cannot locate them. Any help appreciated. Thanks

welcome, where in Guanajuato? I go there every year to visit family. I am always curious about the safety of driving a new vehicle there as I have thought about driving there instead of flighting for a change
As for mirrors I see them available all the time locally in Los Angeles in facebook, offer up and local sellers but not sure they would ship there.
I would think you would also be able to find them in the mopar store

I’m in the state of Guanajuato, not the city. I’m between Celaya and San Miguel Allende. Been Here 10 years and have never had any vehicle issues. I am rather conservative, and don’t do much late night stuff. I have spoken with Mopar, and the standard size mirrors they have do not have the ambient temperature sensor in the side mirror. The tow mirrors do. If you install the new mirrors, the lack of the temperature sensor will trigger the “engine trouble“ light and it cannot be reset.

Most of my family is in Salvatierra, with sibling's in Leon, Abasolo and Celaya.
I am certain I have seen a few people here swap towing mirrors and I see you have another thread open. Hopefully some one else will give you additional feedback
