New with a question

Hi all! Just picked up my 19 blacked out big horn. I previously had a 16 big horn and loved it. So this whole ANC thing seems to be a common theme. I have the base 6 speaker system(wanted alpine but they discounted this truck to the point I couldn’t pass). Anyway I don’t see any tsb open on my vin but when I turn my stereo up past 21/22 it gets super distorted and it almost sounds like there is interference. Like frequencies are competing. I chalked this up to ANC but if true this is obnoxious. Anyone have any thoughts?

It's possible it could be ANC I would take it to your dealer and get them to figure that out.

You could try turning off the "loudness" option, the bass sounds great at low volume but boosts it too high as the volume goes up.

I’ve have (had) stock stereo and didn’t have distortion at 20-22 vol. do you have the bass cranked up in the equalizer (over +7)? That could do it. Otherwise I would say something is either blown or possible ANC. Some good threads on here regarding upgrading those speakers, as well as ANC. Congrats on the truck!
