Hi all Ive found some great info on this forum. I got the 2021 ram Limited etorque off road package with the large tank.
I did have an issue installing my radar detector. what ever you do DO NOT REMOVE THE FRONT CAMERA PLUG that's by the rear view mirror with the car on. I need to go back to the dealer to have the system recalibrated.

Are those factory running boards? looks like a different style than normal.

yep, you can tell its not the limited or longhorn by looking at the headlights, wheels etc..limited also have side body moldings

You're right about the headlights. The wheels can be easily changed though. And you don't have side moldings if you get the Black Appearance Package.

How'd you wire your radar detector?
I'm contemplating wiring my radar and dashcam to the mirror, but afraid to rip a new truck apart.

True, but not extremely likely that someone would spend the coin on a black appearance package and switch out wheels to the factory 17" or 18" wheel (whatever they are) and remove the electric side steps only to add on fixed steps, and change out the grill to get a set of Laramie LED headlights on a brand new, 2021 Limited Black Appearance Package truck. Was pretty confident that I was only making an obvious observation, but you are right...I could be wrong in my assumptions.

Pretty sure those wheels are 20's. Plenty of people have swapped out the stock Limited wheels (my wife included). We went from the factory 22 inch Black Appearance package wheels to 20 inch wheels on her Limited (See photo in my previous post). In our case we went with aftermarket, but if we could have found a set of Built to Serve wheels she would have gone with them. And I've read about other members here swapping to a smaller stock wheel because they didn't want the 22's that came on their truck.

I wasn't arguing that it's a Limited, but that the things you pointed out (other than the headlights) can be easily swapped out. And just because you see a truck without side body molding or stock Limited rims doesn't identify it as not being a Limited. Bottom line is that I agreed with you about the headlights, and Greg mentioned the issue with the side steps. So I think we're all in agreement that his truck is not a Limited LOL.
