Hello everyone. I'm a newbie to the full-size truck world. I have been offroading for many years. Mostly Jeep Wranglers in the US. Many different rigs outside of the US, both professionally and recreationally. I'm building my Ram for general adventures. I tow a small trailer for off-grid camping. Once my build is further along, I plan on hitting some of the Sand Dunes. here in Texas (yes, we have Sand Dunes in Texas).

2023 Ram 1500 Rebel GT. My wife calls this my baby TRX project. We almost pulled the trigger on the TRX, but it was so wide and had way more power than I needed for my use case. We loved how it looked, but after driving a friend's TRX, we bought a Ram 1500 Rebel and are building it to meet our needs.

My modifications:
  • Diamondback bed covers
  • Vice Design hidden Winch mounting a Warn ZEON 10-S Platinum
  • OEM factory rock rails off a TRX
  • Pedal Commander
  • I have the ARB Twin air compressor. I'm awaiting the mounting plate and wire loom from NH Overland to arrive so I can install it.
  • TRX black Beedlock capable wheels 18x9 -12 with LT285/75R18 wheels should be installed soon. I expect to get some rubbing, so I will trim as needed to fit. I ordered the Beedlock Ring, which I will install down the road.
  • Next up will be Kings from Filthy Motorsports. This is another large ticket item, so I'm still waiting for Saving to build up; to place the order. I expect to get more travel and about another 1.5 inches of lift over the stock Rebel.
  • I haven't chosen my Upper Control Arms. Any recommendations would be great.

I am looking forward to learning from the group.

Good choice on color! I ordered my Rebel GT from MD back in Nov and picked it up a couple of weeks ago. Love it and I'm looking to following your build! I have similar plans for my build and use.

I made a 4 tire inflation kit with an ARB single compressor and have a video about it on my youtube channel. It was for my Rubicon and I wanted it portable. I'll have to look into whether or not NH Overland makes one for the ARB single.

I'm considering JBA UCAs.
