Hello Everyone,
I look forward to getting some advise, sharing my experiences and learning along the way.
Yesterday I went to see if I could still factory order a 2022 Ram 1500 here in Ontario, Canada.
Unfortunately after trying multiple dealers the answer was all the same. Production for Canada is closed however ordering for 2023 will start sometime in late September.
I found the closest one to the spec I built online and made the deal today. Delivery day will be this upcoming Wednesday. Only options I did not get that I wanted was:
Bright white - I ended up with the Ivory Tri-Coat Pearl (Which I ended up being very happy with).
3.92 Rear Axle Ratio - I ended up with 3.21. (I don’t ever “plan” on towing but after lurking here on the forum I really did want the 3.92). I’m ok with it.
124.9 Litre (27.4 Gallon) Fuel Tank - I ended up with the 118.19 Litre (26 Gallon) Fuel Tank. I’m ok with it.
Very excited to be a new Ram and Truck owner. It was a lot of money… but it’s a lot of truck and I’m happy with the purchase.
They will be sending the Truck to Line-X for the spray in bedliner on Monday, Installing the Mopar Tri-Fold Cover Tuesday and should be ready for Wednesday.
Going to search for a screen protector for the big touchscreen and some sort of hard key cover case to protect the fob in the meantime and wait patiently.
