Hello everyone!!

I just purchased my first Ram truck. I've been an F150 driver and when looking for a new truck, I was peer pressured to go the Mopar route. I haven't decided whether I like the truck more than the F150, but regardless I'm making it mine. I went with the 5.7L Hemi and the 3.92 gear ratio for maximum towing. I don't have anything to tow yet, but have been googling some travel trailers.

In the week I've owned the truck, I've installed a Line-X tonneau cover, ordered Bushwacker pocket flares (they're at the shop getting painted and clear coated), scheduled running boards for install, ordered rear wheel well panels, and ordered Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires. I'm debating on new wheels with less offset to poke them out under the fender flares. My biggest concern is how much it will affect my daily driving and towing. I'm also considering tinting the front windows to 20% to match the back, but I worry about visibility at night.

Welcome to the forum from the great sovereign state of Arkansas!

That's one good-looking Ram you have there.

Welcome! Born and bred Ford guy here. I switched to RAM this past November and will likely not go back to Ford. At least not in the near future. RAM is the top of the truck food chain right now, as far as I’m concerned. As for the 20% tint, I have the same thing and do not have any issues with driving at night. In fact you’ll probably appreciate the tinted windows at night to keep the headlight glare from the side mirrors down.

Thank you for the feedback on the tint. I will probably go ahead and get the tint next week. I was quoted $88 when I inquired about it.
