Hello from eastern CT. Drove a red Tundra for 7 years and as much as I enjoyed the truck and brand, I couldn't wait for the body redesign. My brother in law made the move to Ram which started me considering the brand. I tried a Silverado RST first but was not very impressed and the body style is so-so in my opinion. Found a 2020 flame red Big Horn Night Edition 40 miles away in RI and got hooked on the looks alone. After the test drive it was game over.

I was reluctant to buy during COVID, but glad I did as it seems the used car/trade-in values are on a down turn. I took delivery on 4/13 but it spent over a week on a couple occasions at the dealer for issues relater to the 8.4 Uconnect screen. Finally have it back (hopefully for good) and already building a mod list the length on my arm from posts on this forum.

Super impressed with the truck so far and I 20200501_155819.jpghope to become a lifetime Mopar fan!

Thanks! Kept seeing the thumbnail of your truck throughout the various forums and it looked familiar. Couldn't stay away from a red truck myself.

Welcome to the forum, congrats on your new Ram. What’s your first mod going to be?

Shopping for a place to have the windows tinted. Also have the splash guards ordered and soon the wheelhouse liners. However it is hard to ignore the fun everyone is getting out of the pedal commander!

How dark are you planning on going? Doing the windshield as well, it’s great for reducing cab temps. I haven’t bought into the pedal commander thing myself, my right foot does all the commanding I need.

Welcome and congrats! Love the night editions, it looks especially sharp on that red!

Never had tint on a windshield but may give it a go this time. As for darkness I originally wanted to just match the factory rear tint on the front, but may go a bit darker all around for fun. Also cautious to go too dark on the pano as I really enjoy the open cab feeling from all that light.

Beautiful truck! Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new ride!
