I recently purchased a fully loaded 2025 Ram Rebel, I love the truck, definitely step above from in ride & comfort from my previous 2 Ford trucks (2013 F250 & 2018 F150).
However, I hate the dealership where my RAM was purchased from, Tamaron CDJR in Daphne, AL
I thought I had a decent deal but when I re-ran the numbers, I got screwed. I primarily blame myself for not controlling the deal process, I will elaborate on the details of what happened in another forum section since this is primarily for introductions.
One quick takeaway from my stupidity is to ignore posted positive reviews of any dealership and be extremely cautious of ANY transaction. Get a copy of the sales worksheet with the final sales numbers you agreed to with your salesmen during negotiations BEFORE you deal with the finance manager to complete the purchase. Take the time to validate those numbers, make sure they match. If they don’t, stop the deal immediately, make them correct or threaten to cancel the deal and walk away.
