Ford has had this since 2016 on the F150 ("Pro Trailer Backup Assist"), I wonder what the take-rate has been for Ford.

Perhaps that's why the trailer tow mirrors aren't being added to this package. They'll keep the current trailer tow package (with mirrors and brake controller), and this will be an add-on to that if buyers want the new tech.

I had a chevy with the trailer light check function. It was pretty nice. Turn it on and go check the lights while it turns on the turn signals, brake lights, etc automatically without anyone in the cab.

Seems like with the trailer tire TPMS as well it would be a neat option.

To me this feature is useless and I’d never teach my kids to rely on it. However, the light feature that turns on trailer signals and lights would be great as well as tpms for trailer tires like the 3500 will do.
