Anyone noticed the new build trucks have a redesigned front lower valence? It has larger blocks in front of the tires and is higher in the center. Sorry I don’t have a picture of the new, only of my flat front valence. 0334A1DB-5661-4314-BC3E-798AD8F9AD72.jpeg 7FC2C7CE-1BEC-4A48-857B-C8D9281643C4.jpeg

I noticed this too, not sure what the reasoning of changing it mid model year was.

Probably, but hard to tell if they raised it in the middle for better clearance or if they extended it on the ends for better aero.

Would someone just post pictures of the two “different” looks (if they really are different) and then we will know.

They're both posted above. The older version is straight across the bottom; the newer one has a "lip" at the outer edge, which hangs lower than the center.

So the one inch drop on the end is the difference?

Doesn’t the limited/air spring models have a different air dam than the non air spring models? Is this the difference maybe?

Do the guys that posted pics of the new air dam have air suspension?

I first noticed the new air dam when driving by the dealer lot. The truck sitting out front was a limited and it had the new air dam. So I don’t think it is air suspension specific.

We do know that the air suspension trucks have a one-piece air dam that is completely different than non-air models. But I’d be interested in seeing pics comparing air dams of the early and late non-air trucks.

Has anyone yanked the front valance off yet? That thing sits so low that it almost touches the concrete in some parking spots, don’t understand why they would put something so low to the ground on a 4WD truck, it would be so easy to rip off on any dip or creek bottom with a steep approach.
