Hi folks, I'm a brand new Ram 1500 Big Horn owner from Canada. Never thought I would own a Ram or anything full size. But the prices for a midsize truck in Canada here is so ridiculous that I had to be pushed over to a full size. Having driven small/midsize trucks for years, I am aware that the gas mileage on a V6 isn't much different from a V8. So bought this HEMI with etorque. A lot of new things to learn. Thank you!

Welcome! Congrats on the new truck. I'm also in Canada and definitely agree. The price for a new Tacoma for example is in a lot of cases more than a decently spec'd RAM.

Thank you guys! Right now I'm painfully building this truck up. First I got put on a new tonneau cover, and then I swapped the factory tires with Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Just bought a headache rack from Canadian Tire and a pair of tow hooks from Amazon. Now I'm looking to put a set of skid plates on. I'm leaning towards mopar plates, but the fuel tank plate and parts are really confusing. If you have the factory plates, would you tell me if I need fuel tank plate cross members? Thanks!

These are the part numbers for the skid plates that I installed. Front and Trans plates. I’m still waiting to do the gas tank skid. From my understanding, the cross member is needed. If you find part number for the gas tank skid and cross, please share!
