Hello all, seems like a great group of truck-ers here, glad to be on board.

Currrent: RAM REBEL 4x4 HEMI CC 5.7 - love it but may be ordering 2019 soon.

Welcome, in case you haven't got to see it in person, the new Rebel completely blows away the previous one

Good luck on your truck decision.

Thanks for joining us

I went from a 16' Rebel to the 19'. Everything you love about your truck now, times 10.

Welcome. Lots of excitement about the new Rebel. Let us know what you decide.

So far with a few test drives under my belt I am leaning towards a 2019 Big Horn 4x4 5.7 eTorque CC ORP with many options, maybe not as "badass" as the Rebel but a bit more chilled out for a daily driver.

Anyone made a switch like this? Thoughts?

Just curious, did you go with air or coils on your 2019 Rebel, and why?

I know cold climates are not the best for the 4th-gen-Ram air suspension, so I'm wondering what you chose on your '19.

Thanks!

That's exactly why I traded up. 4th Gen air ride was a disaster in winter.

The 5th Gen coil ride is BETTER than the 4th Gen air ride, IMO. Plus I want to mod my suspension, just win-win for me. The fact that the 5th Gen Rebel is better in every way was the cherry on top of the deal!

Hey guys,
Well I finally pulled the trigger on a '19 RAM. It wasn't my "ideal" build but it had all the most important options and I got a good deal. Was kinda under the gun as I had a buyer waiting on my '18 Rebel.

BUILD:
2019 Big Horn Crew 4x4 5.7 Hemi 5'7 bed
Billet Silver
Premium LED Lighting Group
Sport Appearance Package
Trailer–Tow Group
Off–Road Group
Level 2 Equipment Group
Rear Under–Seat Compartment Storage
3.92 Rear Axle Ratio
5.7–Liter V8 HEMI® MDS VVT Engine
33–Gallon Fuel Tank
9–Speakers with Subwoofer
Blind–Spot with Cross–Path Detection

So far only a few hundred miles but wow, what an improved truck the '19 is. In a good way.

Awesome. You can't go wrong with any of the trims. Glad to hear it all came together. Who knows, when you are ready to trade, the Rebel may have become something even greater.

Welcome to the forum! That trim and option list is really close to what I was looking for, and super useful... I ended up getting sucked up into a Laramie but that is a great setup! Can you post your payload door sticker to add to our growing database? We don’t have many heavily optioned BigHorn payload data points. You can post it here or even better on this thread:

Nice rebel you had and great looking new 2019. Surprised you found a nicely loaded unit on the lot.
