Been on the 5thGen Rams site for maybe 9 months reading / learning / posting questions / posting what works about audio upgrades on the base 6 speaker system. Also added passive entry for the door locks (which required some wiring and OBDII programming changes).
Lots of helpful people offering suggestions, proven feedback, and in some cases products (custom wiring harness kits) to help simplify installations.
Next on the list of upgrades is swapping the stock halogen head light lights and driving lights to LED... looking for brighter, but not dramatically brighter aftermarket LED bulbs that have an acceptable light cut-off (to avoid annoying other drivers) and will last several years.
If anyone has any feedback on quality LED bulbs for exterior lighting (other than the expensive OEM LED lamp conversion), please let me know your thoughts!
