Dennis B. from Brooksville, Florida. I've been lurking around for about a year to a year and a half, since I started planning to buy a RAM.
I searched far and wide, knew exactly what I wanted and got 99% of it. I bought a Patriot Blue Pearl 2021 Ram 1500 3.6L eTorque, 2WD Bighorn Crew Cab, 5'7" box, with a Diesel Gray interior (Black interiors are no bueno in Florida)
The only thing I couldn't find is one with Bighorn Equipment Level 2, so I got Equipment Level 1.
That was a year + ago and I still love it, except the really bad sounding stereo that FCA doesn't want to acknowledge (I'll make another post on that later).
I had a 2002 RAM 1500 4.7L crew/quad. It ran amazing for about three years and it was totaled. It was such a beast, everyone walked away after being t-boned by a full size Chevy doing 70+. My wife and three children 9, 10 & 10 - no injuries. The bed was ripped off, the body was twisted, the transmission all the way back to the rear axle was ripped completely out - everyone walked away
. I also drove 2500 4X4 Crew Cabs at a utility I worked for, so I've always loved Ram. My wife's F-150 Ecoboost is nice too though.
I drove econoboxes and hybrids for 17 years because my job was 50 miles each way, but always missed the RAM. When I started working from home - BOOM! Except the stereo, I couldn't be happier! Thanks for having me.
