New Longhorn - disappointed in available options

I’m very close to buying or ordering a new 2020 or 2021 Longhorn. I’m in love with the dark saddle/black leather interior. What I also love is the dark grey Granite color, as well as the all black 22” rims that are available on the Laramie. I’m so frustrated to spend this much money and not be able to have the exterior that I want. I love the Longhorn interior, but hate all the chrome. I’m planning on swapping the rims as soon as I can, and possibly having the chrome parts painted by someone. Has anyone else found a way to get a Longhorn interior with a non-Longhorn exterior?

You can order the 2021 Longhorn with paint matched bumpers. The grille would still be chrome though.

No car manufacturer is going to offer all things to all people. The total A-la-carte model disappeared a long time ago. Frankly, I'm surprised car companies even allow customers to still order the vehicles optioned mostly how they want without charging a serious premium mark-up from on-the-lot prices.

Just complete the longhorn de-chroming process... except for new wheels... really wanted the saddle interior too ....and I’m still in love with the interior. Just not sure I would go the Longhorn route again, especially given the limited exterior options for the Longhorn.. thinking that the Limited would have grown on me, especially now that u can get a limited black out package.

You only able to add the Limited Night Edition package to only 2 exterior color.

And you are also still stuck with chrome door handles, window bezels, and badges.

I’m really disappointed in the rim options as well. The 22’s offered on the longhorn look hideous IMO. Did you de-chrome with paint or replacement parts? How did you handle the chrome around the headlights?

Thx, painting tow hooks as we speak, wheel change coming soon . Avondale auto (contact Josh) sells the 12 black trim pieces as package ...$241... or you could order them from amy Mopar dealer...

Search my post #38 in Exterior/limited window trim thread. I list all 12 pieces for black window trim/ part #’s and prices and contact to call.
The sports Hood range in price for $450-600 new, then it needs to get painted... few folks are lucky to switch with others who wanted a regular hood. Get your local dealer to match an online Mopar dealer quote to save on freight shipping cost for hood which can be close to $200 alone. Another option is contacting large salvage/ junkyards... I ordered new, the iother options fell thru.

Limited Window Trim

Probably way less expensive to just wrap the chrome. This Ram was being wrapped when I had my Camaro taillight area wrapped. Do you think it was wrapped while all the parts were still on the truck?
