New head of Ram...

over the same time, Ford sold over 700K F-series per year totaling of 3.1M in that time span (https://fordauthority.com/fmc/ford-...rd-sales-numbers/ford-f-series-sales-numbers/). Not sure where the Ram numbers came from as other sites have them far lower

And GM is still the leader in sales, over F series (when combining Chevy + GMC); they have 2 very popular v8s so whatever story you're trying to shovel on us, it's not working. Many, many truck buyers still prefer v8s.

Does iDodge have a new V8 up their sleeve?
I don’t wanna hear about a twin turbo V8 unless it’s going in the RHO to continue the TRX type platform. Just give us something very similar to the 392 with 475 hp in the other 1500 trim levels. Eliminate the Pentastar and use the Hurricane SO instead as the base motor.

A guy can dream can’t he?😆

Well, I hope he doesn't bring back the same Hemi we've had for so many years now. There's no reason we can't have a new Hemi. There's no reason the 5.7L should be getting 13-15mpg in 2024. Technology has proven that the V8 can do so much better, so a new Hemi design that gets low 20's would be awesome.

I hope we see a return to the ICE and the drive to EV is over.
Not to mention the inherent lack of lunrkcTion design

RAM had great sales up until around mid 2022, they pushed the facelift almost 2-3 years but still found the time to raise prices.
.
That was all due to "Toxic Tavares" - no understanding of the American market and forcing his EU sensibilities on the American market while simultaneously raising prices to milk North America for profits so he could claim a large bonus. I hope that joker ends up shoveling out horse stalls for the rest of his career.

Absolutely agree, however as with any CEO that fails at this level, he is leaving on golden parachute. Part of his cost cutting was so he could get giant bonuses earlier, which he did.

What's crazy is, CEO's that leave their last role on fire often land on their feet with another company, not that he needs the money, but hey, that's corporate life.

someone should do a chart on how many of these F-series sold after one year because i see plenty of F-series on used car lots or how many businesses order F-series at large discounts.

Oh they are probably commercial use.

You're right of course, the bigwigs always cover for themselves and they rarely, if ever, suffer at all for f'ing up entire companies before they get fired.
.
Still, whenever I am reminded of Tavares I will picture him in my mind's eye as mucking out horse stalls, even though that won't be true. If I let myself picture him on his yacht in retirement, that'll just make me mad, and there's no point in that. So forever after in my mind, Tavares will be a lackey shoveling horse manure :ROFLMAO:

Lol, I'll join you in that.
