Hi folks. Live in Houston, TX, looking for a new RAM 1500. I currently drive a 2012 Laramie with 170,000 miles on it. I'm needing 4WD on my next truck as I have gotten stuck a few times in my 2WD truck on my property. Also, I like the technology, so I'm giddy about that. Other than that, I dont have many desires.

These are the features I'm looking for, any advice on buying?

4WD
Tow Hooks
Trailer Hitch
Apple Carplay
12.0-Uconnect Screen
Power Folding Mirrors

Get exactly what you want, once you determine your must-haves. Be careful to avoid the trailer-tow group, which takes away those power-folding mirrors.

Sounds like OP that you are looking for a BigHorn and since you’re shopping 2019 there are tons of deals to be had.

He might need to look at a Laramie if he wants the 12” screen. Correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t think the Bighorns came with them. However I’m all for bighorns!

You can get the 12” screen in a Bighorn with a level 2 pkg . :)

Not sure what part of Houston you are in but I had good experiences with River Oaks Ram and Finnigan in Richmond. Ended up buying from Omar at Finnigan due to price and location. If you on the southwest side of town I'd recommend contacting Omar.

As for equipment, might consider adding the off-road package or maybe the e-locker differential.

Anyone got a go to for Jacksonville FL, looking at getting a rebel, any advice is appreciated.

In Cypress, so yeah, Finnigan isnt too far. I will have to give Omar a call. Off-Road package is preferred, yep.
