Hey everybody. First time Ram owner here. Picked up a 2019 Big Horn a few weeks ago. Absolutely love the truck.

I have a question about the correct gear oil for the rear diff. I have the 3.92 axle. The owner's manual specifies two different options for 3.92 axles - a Rear Axle (3.92) and a Max Tow Rear Axle (3.92). The window sticker says I have the "Trailer-Tow Group". I'm assuming this is not the same as Max Tow and that I should use the standard Rear Axle (3.92) recommended oil, but if anyone has any insight on this I'd love to hear it. I've seen a lot of threads about towing capacity, etc. but nothing that helps me figure out if I need the 75W-140 oil or the 80W-90 oil.

75w-140 for the rear. Trailer tow group isn’t the same as max tow.

Don’t forgot the Mopar Limited slip addictive as well it is has a LSD. The majority of gear oil already contains some addictive but it’s usually not enough.

Yep, got that. I was just confused about which rear axle I had. Thanks again!
