Hello to everyone on the forum, I am the proud owner of a new DT ram Limited in black, I love the truck
These are converted Right Hand Drive in Melbourne by ASV, officially back by RAM USA.
the conversion is really great, it looks like the factory did the coversion with all the bells and Whistles.my ram.jpg
thank you for letting me join the forum

see photos of the interior. I have owned 3 other US convcerted trucks and this RAM is by far the best quality conversion.
its hard to tell which are factory and which are new parts made. I know the company that does the conversion (ASV / Walkinshaw )
do build a lot of new RHD parts under license with RAM compared to other companies in Australian that have not perfected it.

it will look pretty weird for you LHD truck owners :)

Looks to be excellent quality. That is a great looking truck, although I would probably be all over the road if I were to drive it.! Congrats, and enjoy it!

That looks awesome except the volume button on the headunit is now further away but that’s just what’s comes with a conversation.

yeah but youhave the steering wheel control so not a big issue. Even the factory converted Jeep GC has the volume on the left :)

Looks great! What is the orange loop under the glove box?

Nice looking truck without a doubt. Enjoy it and have fun with it. These DT's are the most comfortable truck I've ever driven.
I spent some time driving in London and the English countryside a ways back before COVID. It took a couple of days to get adjusted to driving from the right side of the truck. The hard part for me was when traffic got congested and moving my right sided instincts wanted to override what my eyes and senses were telling me. Never really was able to really relax and just drive. Didn't have any troubles, but I was glad to be done with it.

If you ever get tired of Melbourne, you and your truck would be already set up to deliver the mail here!

yes I have driven on US roads and the thought of it was probably worse that it is. Just follow the crowd and it worked out ok, I own and drive some us imported
cars and are still LHD, thats actually worse

and luckily I dont live in Melbourne, 3 hrs north is a regional area , I couldnt handle the traffic jams my drive to work is 15 minutes from rural farm land and includes getting a coffee at the drivethru on the way :)
