Has anyone installed the new black inserts on their mirrors? I saw a video on YouTube about the MY23 vs 22 differences and the clear mirror insert is replaced with black.

Here's a good picture that I took this past weekend at the dealership. A 2022 on the left, and a 2023 on the right.

Most people swapping are doing the sequential turn signals from Amazon. For mez it wouldn't be worth the money to buy a factory smoked lens and do the swap when I can just put tint film over the factory clear one and get same effect.

Thanks! Gotta give credit to Vossen obviously LOL My bank account is probably still mad at me though, but oh well, as long as my wife isn’t. 😎

That’s exactly what I did, just put the Luxe vinyl cover over them. It has 3 different darkness options.
I really like your wheels as well! Wc ish and shade did you close for the Luxe mirror wrap?

I just used a tint I got on Ebay. Did the mirrors, cab light and taillights.

Thanks! I went with the “mid/gloss” option from Luxe. The darker ones probably look the best to match the paint when the blinkers aren’t functioning, but I wanted a little transparency & contrast.

I do wish that Lamin-x made this product though. I’ve used them on my Jeep & for the fog & taillight covers on the Ram & their product is way more durable & accurately cut compared to Luxe. I had to take a utility blade to trim a little off the Luxe & the taillight film wasn’t cut exact either so I wasn’t happy about that.

I have Luxe tint on my taillights, blinkers and 3rd brake light too. The tint for the blinker lenes were too long, so I just started at the inner edge and then just trimmed off the excess at the end. My taillight tint fit was perfect. I went with their dark tint. 20210918_204034.jpg 20210906_134739.jpg

Luxe has known quality issues with fitment. There is a 5th gen owner that makes them. What I have on my truck. His name is Paul Cre. Not sure if he is on forum or not. I contacted him through Facebook. Very good quality and perfect fit
