Should I go with the Mopar for $700 or the Vararam for $350????? Opinions?
Maybe a lil bias but I’d go Mopar. Why do something half as*, go all in and get the Mopar.Should I go with the Mopar for $700 or the Vararam for $350????? Opinions?
Did u end up trimmimg the front ram cover or were u able to leave it intact..... that's probably my biggest issue i see with the vararam...I like the look of the coverI went vararam, It’s an air intake. Basically minimal performance gains. Looks and sound are the real benefit without going full bore with a tune. I didn’t think the Mopar kit was giving me $400 worth of any additional benefits.

Thanks for the video. Good job explaining the process and showing build quality.I went vararam, It’s an air intake. Basically minimal performance gains. Wish it was CARB Approved.....not really a big deal having to reinstall the factory equip for smog testing down the road, but a small pain in the *** anywaysNope, I reinstalled the shroud and put a little spacer (piece of a hockey stick) to prop it up

Where are you finding the Mopar for $700? Shipped? Best price I’ve seen, with shipping, is $840. Very expensive ($140?) to ship that part.Should I go with the Mopar for $700 or the Vararam for $350????? Opinions?
LOL way higher than I plan on seeing daily. The stock air inlet has not been an issue for street driving thus far. My previous truck was a Z71 crew cab with 5" lift and 34s. I just about sucked up water at a low water crossing or two on the ranch though. This Ram ain't no ranch truck but hey relocating the air inlet to "protect" the truck sounds like a good excuse doesn't it !You’d need to drive through some super high water for that to be an issue.
