Hey dudes,
I have seen some photos of upgraded tires here but i am specifically looking for 305/45 R22. If you have these tires on your truck please post some photos. Did you install them on original 22" rims? I read the original rims are a bit too narrow, only 9" but should be between 9.5" - 11.5". How different is the ride, does the tire bulge a lot due to narrower rim? I am actually looking for a bit more curb rush protection - so slightly popping sidewall would be a PLUS for me. Please share your photos, especially angled at the tire from side or top. Any tire recommendation (mostly highway driving) is appreciated. Thanks!

Here are some pics for Toyo Open Country AT3 305/45 R22 that I have on my stock 22" rims, no lift. The ride is the same as stock, I can't really tell a difference. The tire does buldge out a little more than the stock tire did. I like this for the same reason you mention. I had some rubbing at full lock left in the front part of the front passenger wheel well. I drilled a small hole in the wheel well liner and pulled it back a little with a zip tie. All good now, no rubbing.

Here’s my baby.
Toyo 305/45R22 with SRT style 22x10 inch rims with 25.4 offset
As others have - Rides smooth, no vibration and just enough rubber to protect from curb rash

I haven’t had snow but in the rain they were good. But then that’s me. No matter the vehicle or tires I take it easy.

Hi Ram-a-Kin,
Could you tell me which brand/model name is your "bug deflector" ? Do you like it?
It’s an AVS that I got off of Amazon. I only paid $36 as it was a return - “Used Like New” . I have bought a bunch of things for my Limited this way and saved quite a few bucks. Yes I like it, was easy to install and blends in nicely with the front end. If you get one or similar, my suggestion would be not to stick the little rubber bump protectors that come with it on the hood as the directions suggest. I attached mine to the back of the deflector.

Great - thanks for sending the link too. I did view this particular model on Amazon but there are mixed reviews about it, some even say it breaks apart while driving at highway speed. I guess i'll give it a try.

I have made six-8 hour highway trips so far with them without issue.
