Today while driving my dash starts to completely “spaz out”. It’s turning off the center console, saying my blind spot monitor no longer works, windows aren’t rolling down, turn signal light is out, etc.

The screen keeps flickering and I have no control of the functionality. I have a Tazer DT installed and I suspect that’s what is causing the issues. I’d like to unmarry the unit and unplug, but I can’t access the menu.

Does anyone know what will happen if I unplug the unit without un-marrying?

Thanks in advance.

I don't run my Tazer married, so I don't definitively know the answer, but I don't see what the harm would be.

Are there any other things that happened recently to your truck that might be pertinent? Like, did you get your windshield tinted?

Nope. Haven’t done anything to this truck lately.

I'd try unplugging it (with the truck off) and plugging it back in. Maybe just a power cycle will clear it up, if it's actually the Tazer. I haven't heard of this happening before with a Tazer, so I'm a little skeptical that this is the actual issue. My first guess is that some module got fried (which can happen if liquid gets behind the dash when getting a windshield tinted, for example).
