Hi everyone,

P0113 - intake air temperature sensor 1 circuit high

So I have 19 ram with Hemi engine. I got this code a little while ago, cleaned the sensor and it whet away for a while but it is back now. I bought new sensor and it still comes back.

I did read live data and it shows -40c intake air temperature with old and new sensor.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The next step is to short the two pins while monitoring data. It should go to some high number. For some reason, 276F comes to mind, but don't quote me on that. Just know it should go really high. If it does, then the wiring and the computers are fine, and you have a bad sensor. If it doesn't change, then you have an open circuit or a bad computer.

I don't type well enough to explain the rest of the diagnosis beyond that

AlldataDIY has the theory of operation and troubleshooting steps. Highly recommend if you are planning to tackle this on your on.

Jus jumped that plug and it is still the same -40 it does not change.

I would copy and past the troubleshooting info here but it is too many pages.
And I don't want to get booted out for sharing too much of their stuff.
Just subscribe to alldata and get access to the procedures and diagrams.

Where do I subscribe to Alldata?
