Need a rear bed step for 2025 Ram 1500 Limited

Hello

I want to install a retractable bed step on my new 2025 Ram 1500 limited. The part from Mopar is crazy expensive.

Do anyone know what retractable bed step to purchase?

Thank you for your help
I put an AMAZON one on yesterday. 2025 Limited with midnight package and it crashed hard on the bumper trim on the side.
I had to slot the second and 3rd mounting holes to rotate it forward about the top bolt to drop the step. Then I had to flatten some of the emboss in the bracket for the tow hitch tube so it would bolt on flat. It still hit the bumper skirt extension so I added a 1/2" spacer to the stop (drilled for T bolt and nut).
It now just clears so today I am going to take my router and remove the grip teeth just in the area of the interference. A lot of work but I save a few hundred bucks, it looks good and functions well.

my dealer who installed mine on my '25 said the engineers are trying to figure out a fix. They're having lots of problems with the '24s and '25s not fitting properly and hitting tailpipe and bumper trim. They're working on a mounting fix after realizing that replacing them was not fixing the problem. Still waiting.....probably be awhile!

Does anyone know if ram came out with new part number for 2025 ram 1500 limited? I ordered off mopar site using my vin and my step did not fit

the correct part number for the step that fits is 82216597AC. The part in the mopar catalog #82215289AH says it fits but it does not. The reason the correct part number is not showing in the catalog is because it's the part number for the step coming off the factory floor not for the accessories catalog. I have not idea why Mopar and Ram does not correct this. I'm still fighting with my dealer to get the correct step put on since they put the wrong one on.

Thank you, I tried installing 82215289AH and returned it because it did not fit. I will try ordering 82216597AC and see how that fits.

Yeah, I'm starting to get ticked as my dealer says I have to pay "again" to put the correct part on since they say they can't "warranty" a part that says doesn't fit my truck according to the catalog. My service advisor is waiting on the regional rep to respond as he said he can't do anything. If he says no, I'm going up the ladder. So ridiculous!

I had a 20 and when I added 5” exhaust tips at first I would get a very infrequent rattle over big bumps. Took me a while to sort out that it was the step and exhaust just barely touch when the rear shook. Very slight adjustment to the driver side exhaust tip took care of that.

The correct part 82216597AC is not on Amazon for the '25s. I'm not paying again for the correct part when I've already paid the dealer for them installing the wrong part.

Just to share ...

I got the factory bed step with my Bed Utility Group. I'm 6'2" but almost 60 ;). The step works fine to get on. And I do have air suspension that I lower when I park. But the step to the bed was just too much for me to feel comfortable making it. I've had one of these on a F-150 and didn't have this issue. But I was younger. Haven't tried to track down height differences in steps yet.
