Navigation map update will come mid October?

I just noticed that there was a change in the navigation update website. Previously it just lied “you have an up-to-date map” on my 2019 model with the 2017 map. Now it is saying mid-October. I hope it's true this time.

The "updated" maps are usually a year or 2 old. I usually stick with Google Maps.

Sounds like the lip service I got about uConnect updates. I was told that an update was going to be coming out "by the end of the quarter" starting the day I bought my truck. 2 years later one actually happened. Now I've had 3 in four months and nothing has gotten better. In fact, it's a little worse.

That's why I rely on SYGIC a lot while traveling. Updates monthly.

To costly instead I use apple map or waze.

it used to be $129 or so for the updated maps but as has been stated those are already outdated.
