navigation info vs odometer

Anyone notice if the total miles in the navigation info is greater than the odometer, doesn't seem to make sense. I could understand if the odometer reading was greater than the total on the trip calculator ,but to have it the other way around seems strange.
 
I think that's because it accounts for the delivery miles traveled either by rail or trailer.

Agree. Mine was way off also, I believe it kicks in when they first turn the system on and starts to count.
 
I've not even checked mine. I will try to remember tomorrow. I thought you were comparing the trip odometer on the instrument cluster, not in the 12" display.
 
I noticed it oN the 12 inch display when I hit the navigation and the n the infomation icon. thought it was odd that the odometer and total hours didnt match
 
Took truck to dealer, says must be computer glitch. Hooked it up to computer, actual milage was close to odometer but around 100 miles less. Can live with that piece of mind
 
Can someone tell me exactly how to find that screen in the NAV? I cant seem to find the NAV info with all the average speed, total distance etc etc.
