After 2 years of owning my Ram and regretting not getting the 360 camera and, following all threads about adding a front camera; I decided to take the lazy route and I am happy with the results.
it took total of 30 minutes, not an elegant solutions -- but it works for what I need.
I bought the S type camera from Costco.
TYPE S 6.8" Widescreen Solar Powered HD Wireless Backup Camera 2.0 (costco.com) on sale.
it screwed up my front bumper view -- but it works
I did not want to hunt for pins and routing wires and all of the other stuff I had to buy and do.
Shame on FCA for not having a clean solution for people like me.
