I mentioned in other posts that I was upgrading my sound system, but due to the Las Vegas heat, I'm not in any rush. I cannot get my truck into my garage, and working on it in the driveway with no shade and 100-115 degree temps is a bit much to deal with. I got my sub box all setup, and now got my amps all setup to permanently mount. Just have to run a bunch of wiring. Anyway, here's some pictures. I bought a cutting board at Amazon "Commercial Plastic Cutting Board, NSF, Large, 20 x 15 x 0.5 Inches, Red" which fits pretty good (and matches my interior, if anyone were to actually see it. 
). I cleared the right curve in the back wall by going to the left. If I had to do it over, I would have dropped the board a little bit down and maybe go back to the right. I bought a T metal strap which I bent at a 90 degree with the intention of mounting a bolt all the way through the board. The main hole is measuring too low, so I'll probably just put 2 #8 screws into the front of the board, and couple big screws bolted to the floor. I only hung the board on the 2 screws because the 3rd was over a curve. The 2 screws are 8mm x 20mm. The recess looks like 2", but I left a gap so I could run some wires behind it. The left hole and middle are not level. There is about an inch difference. The aluminum I bought was 3ft x 1/8" x 1-1/4". Would have been nice to have a drill press, but hand drill works.. just holes can be a little off center. I used 2 sided tape to stick the board against the aluminum hangars. Then I used screws to mount it to the board.
I'm guessing you can't do this with the e-torque, as I heard this is where the batteries go.
