Muffler

I currently own a 2011 ram with Hemi and 5 speed auto. I have a 24” magnaflow muffler with the resonators left on. It’s has a good sound at start up but I would like it somewhat louder. Will the 8 speed louden the sound some or should I go with a shorter muffler

It wont be nearly as loud. I had a flowmaster Super 40 on my 2013. I put a Super 10 (which should be much louder) on my 2019 and it is nowhere near as loud. These trucks have extra resonators in them to quieten the cab and prevent drone. See about taking the resonators out. I was going to go back and take mine out but am going to be go with a cat back system shortly so it doesn't matter.
