I'm coming from a 2016 Rebel. Got a 2025 Laramie Night Edition. Thought I would be OK for a while with the stock Pirellis and the 22s. After 3000 miles, I can't stand them. Forever afraid of hitting even a little pothole, curb, or anything, which is one of reasons I drive a truck instead of a car. Need to get new rims and 35s ASAP, but will first need a lift.

So I'm looking into a Mopar 2" lift. Dealership said they can do it for 3200. I know I could probably get one cheaper and better non-OEM, but really worried about doing anything outside of the dealership since this is a super expensive truck and I also got the extended warranty. Dealership said if its a Mopar lift installed by them it wont affect the warranty. For what its worth, I used to have a Wrangler that I modified to the point of basically not having anything stock left. However, that was in my younger years, before kids, before i cared about anything like warranties or having a functional daily driver. I'm past the point of doing things myself and possibly breaking/making things worse.

But I can no longer live with a "truck" that i cant use as a truck. Knew when I bought the truck it would come up eventually, but thought i could get through the winter and live with it for a while, but i can't see myself going into camping/hiking season without doing something.

So, does anybody have any thoughts on the Mopar lift, price, other options, or anything else? Just would like to start a conversation around this.

I feel you. I went through the same dilemma. I actually had a deal worked out on a new Laramie and an all options new Bighorn. I was going to the next day to seal the deal when my wife noticed a 2025 Warlock edition truck at another dealership. I got to looking at the package and started thinking about wants and needs. The Laramie and Bighorn had more creature comforts, but the Warlock had more of the stuff that I actually need. The increased ride height, rear locking differential, and the upgraded suspension were all things that I actually wanted in a truck. Not to mention, even though affording either one of the other two packages wasn’t an issue, it was a plus that the Warlock was cheaper. The other stuff, to me, was only fluff. That is why they make different grades of trucks with different option packages. The person that wants a Tungsten, would probably not be satisfied with a Warlock. That is what is great about choices.

suspension shouldn't void warranty for your engine.
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act declared so. if dealer wants to void your warranty, they need to prove that the suspension mod causes the problems.

now, some people have broken CV, broken axle, broken upper arms, etc. however, if you do it with quality parts and have a reputable offroad shop do the install, you are more than likely going to be fine.
i mean, i swapped my rebel suspension with less than 500 miles on the ODO with Fox 2.5 DSC and Carli UCA, rear springs, and rear end links back in 2022. I'd do it the very weekend i received the truck but I only got open lift at the shop a few weeks after. 40k miles later, including a 15k miles round trip to Alaska and Arctics going through million potholes on Dempster, Dalton, and Alcan, as well as numerous trips to the desert where I do highway speed across the desert and a few crawling trips, my truck is still good. never seen the service department of any dealer. no replacement axle, transfer case, driveshaft, etc.

here's my write up: Fox 2.5 DSC Suspension - A Brief Overview, Procedure, and Review of Proper Suspension Setup
here's my build thread: Boogielander Build
i think i covered 90% of the trips I've done with the truck. you can see I do run the truck hard.
