Mopar 2" Lift...am i dumb??

I
I really want the 2" Mopar lift kit for my 23 truck, but I've called several local dealers here in Socal and the labor cost alone is around 2k! Not sure it's worth it with that high cost of labor. I'm ok spending around $1,800 for the parts, but man, labor is killer!

what kind of labor/install prices have people seen for that kit at the dealer?
installed it myself. Not difficult

$3,800 for the 2” Mopar lift installed seems outrageous to me. If you know righty tighty and lefty loosie, and have the time, I’d suggest doing it yourself. YouTube is full of tutorials of installs and some break them down step by step. Thats how I lifted my past Jeep YJ, TJ, 4th Gen 1500. Learn by doing if that interests you.

I’ll be installing my 2” RC coilovers, 2” Mopar UCA in a few weeks in the garage. Save that $2k and put it towards other upgrades! Just my .02. Good luck either way brother!

I’m in SoCal. Willing to do it for you for $1950

Still thinking I'm going the Carli Commuter route.

Stupidly, I didn't get the lift installed at delivery, when my salesman offered any accessories installed free. I did get the running boards and remote start added free. Even if he balked at no $, and wanted to charge a small amount, the parts then were $1200, now I see they're $1800? Daaaaannnnnggggg...

I want a 2" lift for my Ram 1500...Am i dumb for wanting to spend the money on a mopar 2" lift? Is there a beter option? Just wanting the best ride and warranty integrity.
I know I’m late to this party. I have had Bilstein 5100 on a 2021 f150 and it accomplished my goal. Near level stance and reduced a heavy nose dive on braking. Ride was a “tad” firmer by I would call it more compliant and confident.

About ready to do the same on my 2024 Laramie just for leveling purposes only. As an aside, I wish this truck were leveled from the factory because I feel the OE shocks and springs are almost perfectly balanced for my taste.

Depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. The Bilsteins run about $300 for the pair plus labor. They also have a lifetime warranty. Can’t say that for others, Fox, etc.

Thank goodness we're not engineers making vehicles for their specific purpose eh? :ROFLMAO:

Not the best option, but I did 2” motofab top hat spacers in the front. Didn’t have to change the UCA’s as I don’t really go off road. The angles didn’t change that much. Any higher and I would definitely change them.

The ride it the same and it’s perfectly leveled
