I have posted in other threads about a “mixed” Lift I would be doing. Finally got it done and wanted to follow up. I had a 3 1/2” RC lift installed this past summer and really like it, but as time went by I decided I wanted more “rake” back on the truck. The RC lift like most others consist of a “built in “ leveling kit so to speak. The front is lifted 3 1/2” but the rear consists of only a 1” lift block, therefore giving it a 2 1/2” leveling effect. I decided to purchase a fairly cheap Southern Truck lift online. It is a true 2 1/2” lift at all four corners consisting of two 2 1/2” front strut spacers ( which I did not need) and two 2 1/2” rear lift blocks. I swapped the 1” RC blocks for the 2 1/2” Southern Lift blocks and absolutely love the difference. In summary, I now have a 3 1/2” lifted front and 2 1/2” rear giving it a 1” level as compared to the factory ‘rake’ which IMO is now perfect! I also had Airlift 1000 airbags installed while we were at it! Attached are some before and after photos. I am currently running 275/65 tires on the stock 20’s for the winter. Can’t wait to get the 35’s and aftermarket wheels back on this spring. Also attached a picture from this summer with the 35’s and the full RC lift. The part numbers are visible in the pictures for the lift and air bags. The ‘blue sky’ pics are with the 1” RC blocks and the ‘cloudy’ pics with the 2 1/2” blocks.
