Yesterday I had my ram into the dealer to have my driver side mirror replaced under warranty as the auto fold function was not working on that side.

After I got up yesterday my wife had gone ahead and picked up my truck while I was sleeping and while looking over the truck I noticed the new mirror has a larger gap than my passenger side. I have a feeling that with time I won’t notice as bad but is there an adjustment that can be made or should I just ignore it and go on with my day? First photo is the passenger side, the other is the driver side (new mirror)

I wonder if it is a new design because of the wind noise/whistle complaint a lot of us have. Mine is fine with the windows up but I live in Florida and drive with the windows down a lot and my mirror whistles like crazy and I think it comes from that seam.

I’m not entirely sure. I haven’t noticed any noise from the mirrors in my truck in the month Iv owned it so I can’t say for sure weather that’s one of the issues or not.
