Hi All, and Happy Monday!

Here is the description of the issue:
Vehicle: 2021 Dodge RAM Rebel 2021 (HEMI 5.7) 14k km

Environment:
- When gear/trans oil is warm, over 55c or 130f
- After 10 or more minutes into the drive @25-35mph at 3th, 4th and 5th gear around 1500 - 2500 rpm.

Symptoms:
- Sudden clicking/metal rattling noise when mild acceleration
- Continous clicking/rattling noise when going uphill, mild slope
-Area of the sound, feel like the front-mid of the chassis, not clear on the exact spot

Video: (From one jeep, but SAME noises)
- The sudden click noise:
Sudden rattling at 8s.

And mi dodge : Sudden rattling at 5s.

Some people talk about octane but I really think the problem is elsewhere. maby transmition...

I seem to have a similar issue if anyone has input or the solution. I was thinking possibly exhaust related because the noise only occurs under acceleration or load.

I've read somewhere of the u-joint yoke on the transmission tailshaft being improperly torqued and working itself loose. Something like that might be affected by trans temperature.

Sounds like engine ping

I had ping on 89 and 93 until I added some octane booster, wonder about the quality of gas these days
