Push the - and then the + and out it in 8th gear. Will still allow for shifting through of all gears but disables MDS. Not sure what deactivator you are referring to. Im going with the Diablosport intune and will be getting a custom tune and will have my tuner turn MDS off all the time.

Yep, what he said. Press the button on the steering wheel until it says top gear is 8 and MDS will be off. Or just push the tow/haul switch and go into tow mode.

Now why do you want to disable it? If it makes noise, there's a reflash that should fix it.

Well, gets old hitting - and then + until it gets into 8th all of the time, and putting it in tow/haul mode when not towing or hauling is not a great idea. Tuner will turn it off and then can use a caned tune or get a custom tune.
