I have a stock 2019 5th gen 1500 sport, looking to get a semi aggressive tire and rim combo but don’t plan on lifting it, maybe a levelling kit but that’s about it. Anyone know what the max tire and rim size I can get is without rubbing? Also Not sure if any tire would void my warranty. Thanks! Currently have 20” wheels on it.

275/60/R20 which is a 33" will fit on stock wheels. You could go wider on new wheels. Beyond that Im sure others will chime in. Thats as far as I plan on going since Im keeping my wheels.

285/60/20 is what I have. Had to do some super slight trimming of the very bottom of the wheel liner so it didn't hit at full lock.

Any larger I'd say you need a level or lift

I think you might get away with a 33x12.5 but seems to be luck if you do. Id go with 285/60 like W13NY said.

You have to look at the tire manufacturer specifications to get the actual size of a tire, some run smaller some bigger. Also tread design can be aggressive and cause rub. I have 33 x 11 Michelin Defenders, normal road tread, no rubbing and still some room at full lock

I have 33's (275/70 R18) on my Sport. Not too aggressive on the tires either (AT instead of MT). Any bigger would likely get some rubbing. I've scoured these forums looking for info on this and settled on this size thanks to everyone on here. You're welcome to try larger wheels and disregard my input however, your truck your choice, but hope that helps.

I have 305/45/22 on stock suspension and just needed a heat gun to move a little bit of plastic. -22 offset btw

I put 275/60 R20 on my Laramie (Michelin Defenders). The fit is fine and they fill the wheel well better than the stock 55 series tires. A minor added benefit is that I theoretically changed my rear end from a 3.92 to 3.80 due to a tire that is 3% taller. I still wish RAM offered the 3.55 rear end on all models.

I've been considering this option as well. I'd really like to see some profile shots.

How’s you’re fuel mileage since the 60 series tires?

285/60-20 Yokohama Geolander X-AT on chrome factory wheels. Added Rough Country 1/4" spacers all around

I've got a 3.92 rear end, so I don't think the mileage will be any worse. Keep in mind these are highway tires, not heavier off-road tires some owners upsize to. I was hoping my mpg would improve slightly since my effective axle ratio is now 3.80.

Agreed about the tires. When I go to ATs they will be 4 ply for sure. Have to noticed a difference?

I didn't have the original tires on long enough to determine if the mpg changed any. I made the same tire swap on my previous 2019 Ram so I when I got my 2021 I switched them out right away. The ride quality with the Michelin Defenders is great.

Perfection! I'm looking to do the same.... Any levelling/lift?
