Manual shifting?

My truck has the 8HP75 trans. On the steering wheel there are buttons to lock out gears from the top down. What I'd rather have, and what would be a LOT more useful, is to be able to use these buttons to manually shift the transmission instead like you can do on the 8HP75 in the Jeeps.

Anybody know if the Tazer can make a change like that?

You can manually shift up and down...maybe I am misunderstanding you.

The only thing I dislike about it is that you can lock the automatic upshift but not the down shift. Say you pick 2...it won't got up to 3 but will go down to 1

Is that what you mean...and you are saying the Jeep will lock both up and down.

Otherwise...i would think the RAM works as the Jeep does

think he is saying its like my challenger, hit the paddles and it downshifts and upshifts like a manual transmission, not as a gear limiter.
