Magnaflow Catback

Is it just me, or does the Magnaflow Catback not sound awesome?

This is the deep throated sound that I would like. Is the sound on the video misleading? Anyone have this catback on their truck? If so, any thoughts you can share?

Sounds good but it is a little louder than I anticipated.

Magnaflow use to sound awesome but something changed. It's not as crisp and doesn't have the same impact. It used to bath you in a deep aggressive rumble but doesn't seem to now.

I was thinking the same thing! I got the catback system because I didn’t want anything too crazy but it was a lot louder than I expected.

It’s got a deep rumble when you accelerate but when you’re cruising you can’t really hear it. Louder than I expected but nowhere near obnoxious like the carven or flowmaster!

Thanks, Wheeler. The Magnaflow muffler from B2 Fabrication is on my list. And it’s a good bit less expensive than the cat back.

I’ve got a Borla Touring cat back on my 2015 Mustang GT and while that’s perfect for me on the Mustang, I don’t want my Ram to be too loud. But I would like a little more rumble than stock.

I'm completely happy with my Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, it for sure has that deep rumble and sounds great IMO. Not too loud for me at all and not nearly as loud as the Borla or Carven options from what I've heard people saying. My wife and kids even like the sound now and to me it sounds like the way a RAM Truck should!

B2 fabrications for me! They use a 14” Magnaflow but an 18” would be awesome too....far better than the stock muted sound

I’ve kinda gone full in. I’ve got an Afe Magum CAI, a B2 Farications Magnaflow muffler, and a Pulsar “tune” coming.

I’m hoping the three will wake up the truck and give her a bit of a throaty, rumble sound.

The B2 Fabrications Magnaflow 14” assembly arrived yesterday and I’m gonna try to get it installed today. It’s top quality and B2 was a pleasure to buy from. The Afe CAI and the Pulsar should arrive Monday.
