2019 RAM Rebel 130k miles. Just installed standard Bilstein 5100 in rear and did Bilstein 5100 set to 2” setting with new Mopar springs. Crawled under today after a few days on the new 5100 to check on things and noticed the LCA is rubbing against the spindle/knuckle (I don’t know the term exactly). When I noticed it, I tested full lock turns while parked and can hear the LCA hitting the knuckle. I’ve read some other posts and people say it’s normal. I don’t believe it. My factory set up made it 130k without rubbing or me knowing anything about suspension till now. Help! Also new here, first post, been reading lots of everyone else for years though.

My Rebel has done that since day 1. Just because you didn't notice it before doesn't mean it wasn't doing it. See how worn that groove is in your second pic? It's been happening for 130k miles.

I’m no suspension expert by any stretch. Doesn’t it seem weird to have parts rubbing against each other? SHOULD there be a gap between those in an ideal from-factory world?
