I was looking for a low profile mud flap to cover thw front tire a bit more. Protect the side of the truck and the rear fender.... found nothing...so I ordered the weathertech guards for the 19 limited and cut them down with a cutoff wheel, smoother them with a belt sander then rolled thw edge with a heat gun. 20200111_182220.jpg20200111_182118.jpg20200111_173005.jpg20200111_182220.jpg20200111_182118.jpg20200111_182132.jpg

I just installed the weathertech flaps too. I like what you did. Well done.
Thanks. I was unsure about wanting to install the rears because the front was the main issue. . Gonna run fronts only for a bit and see

Ha ha I dod the same. The rears are sitting on my workbench still.

That looks good and you still have good clearance, I have a new set of Wethertech's in the box I have not installed as I had second thoughts about them especially with losing the clearance like being able to drive off a curb without tearing off the mud flaps.

This is what I'm debating on doing. I like the mopar lengths but don't like the design. I like the weathertech & husky designs but I don't like longer lengths. Did you use a template for the length & corners or did you eye ball it?

I’m interested in more details as well

My truck came factory with small splash guards that look exactly like that. They're worthless. My doors still get nasty and gravel still pelts my rocker panels. I just ordered some rubber and I'm going to make real mud flaps that are actually functional for mine.
