Loving the Ram in the snow here in Northern Colorado..

Lived in TX a big chunk of my life. It's amazing what a 1/4" of snow and a little ice can do to cripple that state.You guys make me grateful to live in Texas. We have a tee time tomorrow afternoon, it should be sunny and about 68 outside.I'll put my truck into 4x4 on the way to the course in solidarity with you northern brethren.
Fortunately Iearned how to drive in that stuff in my late teens in the days before anti-lock brakes. Threshold braking used to be a thing. 
I remember one day in the fall the temp was in the '90s, and the next day was an ice storm."Good tires" is a relative thing. Some folks will only go with winter tires. I do well with the Michelin LTX Defender M/S year 'round. I changed the OEM Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenzas at about 700 miles. Those tires sucked (like most OEM tires).
Was out and about a little while ago. The neighborhood streets are entertaining. Major thoroughfares are just wet. Have to take it easy on the throttle because, yeah, it's a Hemi.

If that's a 5.3L, my neighbor has that exact truck, right down to the color.
No its the 6.2. 5.3 with the 8 speed transmission has to many issues so i decided to pay more for the 6.2 and 10 speed.

That is a good amount of snow already! None here in Ottawa (Canada) at the moment... but had a good amount a few weeks ago (all melted now). Got to test the Rebel with the stock tires and it was great. I love those Duratracs... had them on my last RAM. Can leave them on all year.
