This is my 4th ram and I have not experienced any thing like the power shortage when traction control kicks in. I live in Colorado and lived here all my life, I know snow and I know vehicles in snow.

Is anyone else encountering with their 2022 1500 that when there is a slightest bit of slippage on ice/snow all power is cut off?

I have only noticed that if I am purposefully spinning the tires, sounds like yours might be overly sensitive.

I hate it too. You should turn it off

Yep, turn it off. Same in my truck.

It's always been like that. I can't even do a burnout in my Lincoln if I forget and leave TC on. It's an old 2004.
