Looking to screw bass knob on the front lower dash panel, any risk? (knee panel under steering wheel)

I see a small square vent, not sure if any electronics are embedded in it...

It's a perfect place to install a bass knob, style of plastic makes adhesion difficult with double sided tape so I will be using screws.

You don't say anything about your truck. If it's a 23 they have knee bolster airbags. Don't put anything there.

Behind the square vent is your in-cabin temperature sensor. I mounted my Bass Knob in the center console.

Use Velcro with adhesive backs. No drilling 👍🏻
