Shopping for a Ram.

I like certain parts of the Longhorn, Limited and Rebel for different reasons.

But I never saw a Longhorn with black limited seats.

Was this a clear case of a swap after leaving the factory??

Also, are heated & cooled seats not available with Longhorn?

Heated and cooled seats are not just available, but they're supposed to be standard with the Longhorns. I also did not see black seats as an option for the Longhorn when purchasing, nor have I ever seen a Longhorn with black seats. The only black will be the leather on the dash and the arm rest.

Run away from that truck.

I’d wager it has a rebuilt title or has other serious issues in the Car Fax.

These firms that buy totaled vehicles and rebuild them often use a hodgepodge of parts.

Those seats were never offered on a Long Horn. Not were those wheels for that matter (those came from a Big Horn trim).

While it is possible the previous owner just wanted black seats and so had them reupholstered, that is highly unlikely given there were plenty of other trims on which to get black leather. Combine that with the wrong trim wheels and doubts begin to swirl…

The door cards are not correct either.

And the black leather seat covers don’t match either a Laramie or a Limited style. Probably a Katzkin or similar aftermarket cover.

The longer you look the worse it looks.

Seems to have been a Longhorn Southwest Edition at some point though.
